Armed robbery of One Stop Market is 14th felony arrest for Utica man www.wktv.com/news/local/22862404.htmlUTICA - A Utica man is facing charges after an armed robbery Thursday morning. Police say it was at 9:04 a.m. Thursday when James D. Watkins, 41, of Utica, walked into the One Stop Market at 625 Albany Street, armed with a knife, and forcibly stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled. ### Certainly, here is an example of the criminal justice system failing us. How can someone with that many felonies be still wandering around? Does anyone feel the D.A. has some explaining to do? And the judges he will probably blame?

It depends on when he received those other felonies and the length of his sentences. If he's 41, there's a good chance he's a career criminal. I do not remember how NY criminal procedure law operates and whether there is the so-called "three strikes" rule.

I don't think they have a 3-strike rule. Some names you see in the paper over & over again.
When I was 19 & living on York St. by myself, my apartment was burglarized. They caught the 4 guys that did it, & I still see their names in the paper to this day for burglaries.

No...No three-strike rule here.
Seems to me the DA(s) keeps putting him away.........
......I wanna talk to the arsehole that keeps letting him out.
