Walmart is offering next day delivery on groceries. From what I read it is free if spending $35. or more. I got to check tomorrow when this starts since I saw a sign saying Aug 21st but need to make sure. This is very convenient. I am sure other grocery stores in area will be doing the same shortly.

I just did checking on Walmart.com. It appears to be limited to non-perishables which makes sense and it's already past time to get it delivered tomorrow. I set up a shopping and did a practice trip for household and canned goods. Didn't take long to get over $85 and was available in my zip code. We don't need that stuff now but maybe next month I will try it.
The minimum quantities may be more than you want.

I emptied my cart at Walmart.com because I wasn't buying anything today and went on with my day. Ads for the things that were in my cart now show up on other web sites. If I click on one of the ads it takes me to that item at Walmart.com. I never assume that anything is private on the internet so it didn't surprise me.

I was looking on Walmart sire also checking their Vision Center and I see that delivery is free when spending over $35.00.
I also notice that if I am shopping for anything somehow that item or items follows me around. Sunday I was looking at Futons on Walmart and two other places. All the ones I clicked on showed up on MSN, Syracuse NY Local web page and what made me laugh is that when I went into Walmart today the Futon I was looking at was in the center isle to the entrance of the store with a special clearance sale of $80.00. Now that is scary.

It gets a bit annoying sometimes. All you have to do is google something and it tips the "cookie jar" upside down and you get bombarded with cookies for a week after or more. It is amazing how quickly it all starts. I can google a product right now and I bet within less than a half hour my screen with be filled with cookies directing me to sites for that product.

I tr to use that to my advantage. I Google stuff and let it shop for deals. I don't worry about people finding out stuff about me. I try to live by the bumper sticker I saw once, "Live life so the preacher won't have to lie at your funeral."

I have to think that when I die the preacher might have to bend the truth a bit if he goes back all the way to my younger days, haha. My older years? Pretty boring and uneventful actually. He might be able to paint a much brighter picture of those years. lol

It's unnerving. Every time I shop for something online within hours an ad shows up on my FB page for that product. For instance a couple days ago i went to Lowe's website looking for a new Shop Vac. Sure enough, a couple hours later there's ads on my page for wet dry vacs at Lowe's. Happens every time.

I forgot which web site but I was looking around and saw an item I liked but was going to wait till the beginning of the month which was only 5 days away so I placed the item in my basket. I was already registered since have shopped online with them before. Sure enough 2 days letter I get an email telling my I have this item in my cart with an offer of 20% off. So I bought it. LOL
