Singer Nicole Dollanganger posts about Bianca Devins murder; asks people to stop sharing photos
On Saturday night, Brandon Andrew Clark and his girlfriend Bianca Devins drove to New York City to attend a Nicole Dollanganger concert.
About 12 hours later, Clark killed Devins in Utica by slitting her throat and then trying to kill himself in front of officers by cutting his own throat, Utica police said. He survived and was charged Monday with her murder, they said.
Police said Clark, 21, of Cicero posted photos online of 17-year-old Devins’ body and of himself before and after he tried to kill himself. The photos spread online, kicking off a firestorm of online posts and comments.
Dollanganger, a 27-year-old Canadian singer, songwriter, went on Twitter Monday to comment on the killing:
“RIP Bianca. what happened to this beautiful angel was evil, cruel and senseless. I am so heartbroken for her and all her loved ones."
She then went on to ask people to stop sharing the horrific photos of Devins’ murder.
Utica police said today something happened at the concert - possibly something involving another male - that may have led to a disagreement between Devins and Clark.
The two left New York City about 11:30 p.m. Saturday and returned to Utica. Police believe Devins was killed sometime between 4 and 6 a.m. Sunday in a car in Utica, police said.
Dollanganger is known for her high-pitched singing voice and her lyrics, which include themes of gore, sex, BDSM, depression self-harm and eating disorders, among other topics.
Dollanganger, whose real name is Nicole Bell, took her stage name from the Dollanganger series of books by V.C. Andrews.
She began posting original songs on Tumbler in 2012 and wrote and recorded her first four records in her bedroom while sick on bed rest from anorexia.
She is currently on tour, and traveled to Washington, DC for a concert tonight and then to Millville, Pa. tomorrow.
Her latest album is Heart Shaped Bed.

Why is stuff like this even music and why is it aloud to be sung in a concert anywhere.
