OMG! The last time I had a sub like that was when I lived next door to the Salumeria Deli on James St. Not many places that you can buy Mortadella, and much of the capicola that you buy in supermarkets doesn't come close to genuine capicola from an Italian deli. That sandwich looks absolutely delicious. You couldn't beat the Salumeria's sub rolls and imported deli meats and wide variety of salami and provolone, and when he baked his crusty Italian bread on weekends there was resisting the urge to run next door for a hot loaf.

Maybe the Salumeria Deli still uses a roll like that and has those luscious looking cold cuts if they are still open and still make subs Kit. Their crusty rolls were as good as were the great high quality meats and cheeses.

Sadly, Clipper... Salumeria's closed a few years ago. I used to get my imported Pecorino Romano cheese there, cut fresh from the wheel. Also a couple loaves of their bread while I was there. But now...  Attachments:

New Vietnamese store opened in that location. They sell clothing, flip flops and groceries. Along with rice ( naturally). Do they use chop sticks? Here is the name: AYE TUE ASIAN GROCERY STORE

I will have to remember that when we come north again. They probably have the Thai noodles that I love. Great with chicken, chopped scallions, fish sauce, and sliced fresh jalapenos.
