Where does one purchase Za'atar? I searched it on google and I didn't recognize many of the spices involved in the mixture.

Za-atar is available at Karam's Middle East Bakery on Campbell Ave. in Yorkville. They sell it in small bags. If you don't live in the Utica area, check out this website... foodsofnations.com/?product=zaatar-zaatarspice-blend-lebanese (there are 3 different blends. I use the Lebanese) When I eat labneh I just pour a little olive oil on it and sprinkle it with dried/crushed mint leaves, and a pinch of cayenne... and scoop it up with pieces of pita bread. But this recipe with za-atar looks great so I'll try it. By the way, if your supermarket stocks the Cabot brand, their plain Greek yogurt is so thick and creamy it easily substitutes for labneh (which is only plain yogurt and a touch of salt that's 'dripped' to thicken it). Most other yogurts, even the Greek ones, are not as thick as Cabot's.

I bought mine at Walmart. $4.44. What a crazy price. I love it. I made chicken with it and some garlic and lemon. Yummy Yes and Kit I used the Cabot. Works perfectly.
