What a shame. He didn't have much to work with really. I don't think the team meshed well together. They should have fired the whole team! I like Willie. I hope he bounces back.

I'm not sure how you blame Willie Randolph for the Mets having such lousy hitting, fielding and pitching.

You blame Willie, the same way they blamed Joe Torrey. Overpaid, spoiled players, that can't live up to expectations when the pressure is on. Some of them are such legends in their own minds that they simply don't play well with others, and place blame on everyone but themselves.
Just like the multi million dollar whine asses in NASCAR, such as Tony Stewart, and others. If you go to watch Tony race, take along a couple of tubes of prep. H, for the pain in the ass you will have listening to him and Busch whine.

As of the game they just played, they are now in 1st place.
So much for them not being much of a team, eh? ;D

As of last night they are 2 ahead.
That's ok, Frankcor. It's a long season yet. Who's your team?

How 'bout dem Yanks?
They took 2 of 3 from Boston this weekend. They crushed the Sox Friday and Saturday but ran into a buzz-saw yesterday. Oh well, you can't win them all.
Meanwhile, the Mets continue to steamroll.

They seem to have developed a flat tire in their steamroller, Frank.
Yeah, the Yankees really pulled themselves up didn't they?
