When I lived out in the country years ago we used to make cow manure tea. I would put about 10 or 15 pounds of well rotted manure in a burlap sack and make tea in a 55 gallon barrel.
Another tea that made tomatoes jump right out of the ground and grow was the protein foam we used to foam the runway for a gear-up landing. I was made with Sheep's blood. It stunk like hell but made super good fertilizer.

I had never heard of compost tea. Had to look it up. Sounds like fun but I am pretty sure Barb won't let me set that up in the garage. How bout your basement? Lol

LOL! It was definitely an OUTDOOR project and the barrel was kept a LONG way from the house.

I finally managed to get caught up and get everything planted last evening. It is drizzling here today with no sunshine in the forecast until tomorrow. I have room for one more 10 foot row of something. I may plant some radishes or lettuce, or I may leave it as is.
My neighbor lad who helps me out will come over and help me put down the weed cloth and put the hold-down anchor staples in the ground some evening soon. It is a two person job.
I left Kathy with a puzzled look on her face. I told her that I wish it would stop raining long enough for me to get out there and water the garden. lol
