www.wktv.com/content/news/UPDATE-One-person-is-in-Custody-566922301.htmlI am curious as to the location of the house. Earlier the reports were about increased police activity around the FasTrac across from where we used to live. I am assuming from the article that it was probably within sight of our old house. People need to be very careful where they do those Facebook and other online sale site transactions. Always do so in a populated and well lighted area. When I have sold things on the local on-line garage sale site I have met the buyers in daylight in a well trafficked retail parking lot, or at the Sheriff's Dept. parking lot. Both the county Sheriff's Dept as well as the Bristol Tn. Police Dept. promote doing such transactions in their parking lots. The Sheriff's office in Blountville has a designated little area with a couple of reserved spaces that are under constant watch on a parking lot surveillance camera that is monitored at the dispatch desk. It was not long ago that a young man was shot when he met a buyer in the outlying edges of a local Walmart parking lot. He was shot in the leg and robbed of the PlayStation game console that he was selling, along with his money and phone. They threw his car keys into some nearby brush so he would not be able to follow them.

Rob someone, steal their car, get in a police chase and then flee on foot.............. ..........to your home? Certainly not the brightest bulb in the chandelier.

He probably told his wife if someone knocked on the door and asked for to tell them he wasn't home.

The cretin is in the county slammer with a $30,000 bail on his ass. Now he's got plenty of time to think twice about trying to rob someone with a gun.
