And boy are they strong. Doc said he had to really adjust since my vision has gotten worse and the cataracts don't help the situation. I have worn them now for about 5 hours and I have a headache so I took them off. Now I see worse. Oh well this might take awhile. I will put them on tomorrow when I wake up maybe that will make a difference. Everything is nice a clear but still fuzzy. He said he corrected them to 20/25.

I don't PB you shouldn't have to adjust to new glasses. I'm confused. Clear but fuzzy?

I had to take them off bad headache. Yeah it is weird. Everything is clear or maybe I should say very bright but certain area's in my vision field are fuzzy or blurred.

Bifocals? Variable focus? It sounds like something is not adjusted properly. If I do something like tilt my head back and look at the TV through the reading portion of my glasses things become blurry but otherwise both near and far vision are good.

I would go back to the doctor. I had that problem when I tried to go to the lineless bifocal. I went back to the bifocal with the little half-moon shaped bifocal in the bottom corner. I tried them twice over the years and just plain cannot adjust to them. They gave me a headache and blurry vision. Went back to the old school bifocal and the problem was solved.
I agree with CB. You should not have to "get used to" a new prescription. There is something the matter with the glasses.

I got them on now and can barely see to type. Feels like a magnifying glass. I have the same bifocals I always had which is those little half moon things on the bottom and even that is blurry. I will bring them back and see what the Doctor has to say.

If you are experiencing that sort of blurring, maybe they will recommend that you have cataracts removed. I had cataracts for several years before they reached a point where the doctor said that they were "ripe" enough for medicare and my insurance to pay for the surgery. I went to the doctor to get new glasses and he said he wouldn't recommend new glasses and that they wouldn't do me any good until I had cataracts removed. My vision went from blurred peripheral vision to where my entire field of vision was somewhat blurred all the time and was getting to a point where it affected my ability to drive safely. Especially at night. Since they removed the cataracts i can see a flea on a fly's ass from 50 yards away, haha.

About 20 years ago I had an issue with an eyeglass script. I took the eye exam, picked out the frame etc. etc. When a i picked up the glasses I could not use them my vision was blurry. I brought it to the attention of the optometrist who gave me a hard time insisting there was nothing wrong with them. Despite numerous phone calls & getting the run around I contacted the union sponsered vision plan & they intervened on my behalf. Sure enough the provider screwed up my script & I got new glasses. That was Empire Vision.
I would contact the vision center & have them check out the lenses & your eyes again.

I am going to cause these are not working correctly. I can see ok with my old glasses except distance is causing a problem.
I noticed on these new glasses I can't see out of the bifocals.
