I got a copy of this newspaper, unsolicited in my mailbox today. Very strange but interesting reading. Nothing that I would pay 40 bucks for 3 month's worth of weekly editions. It is just weird that I would be sent a copy of the thing. Everyone on the road got a copy. They must be hard up for subscribers for a NY publication to be reaching out to Tennessee with samples and subscription forms. I would think one would be wise to avoid giving this entity your credit care info on a form that looks like it was printed by a kid in a basement somewhere. Did any of you happen to get a sample of this publication? Has anyone ever heard of it in the past. It started out as a Chinese publication, published in Chinese before eventually being printed in other languages including English. www.yelp.com/biz/epoch-times-newspaper-manhattanwww.facebook.com/epochtimeswww.quora.com/Is-The-Epoch-Times-a-credible-news-source

I read it and put it in the trash. It was interesting to read. It seems to be an alt right answer to some of the alt left publications, but hardly any more reliable or accurate. They bought a bulk mailing list somewhere because I asked my neighbor this morning if his had an address label on it. Yep, name and address label and he had never heard of the publication either.

That is what I thought Ralph. There was a crude subscription form in the fold of the paper, poorly printed on cheap yellow paper, and yep, name, address, and credit card info.

One thing, if you want a Communist or Authoritarian Socialist slant, this is not for you. If you are interested in information that is true and pertains to the USA, this stands alone and high above other papers.
If you subscribe for their trail, you get a detailed Poster regarding the SpyGate fiasco that will prove to be the most significant political debacle in modern history. It's a keeper too; bound to be a a collectors item in time.
Bradley E. Bradley E. said: The Epoch Times is as biased as they come!
Any agency, individual, or news source that claims to be totally unbiased is suspect from the start. Just because this paper appeals to some people's cognitive bias, doesn't mean that it is a good source of news. Propaganda is not news! They only support Trump because of his stance on China (it suits their agenda). The fact that Trump reads and agrees with this trash is enough on its own to make any analytical, thinking person question its usefulness. McDonalds, Fox News, and now this are a few of his favorite things! Wake up people, you are being manipulated and it is not even that sophisticated. Despite the slick chart, Spygate is BS! We have real criminals arrested under Trump, some of which are serving time and some that are still awaiting investigation and trial. A person is known by the company they keep. Where are these Epoch Times stories? Crickets... F -
Christopher L.: Fact based, well written newspaper. A great alternative to left and right leaning media companies. A+++
Kathy S." Said: EPOCH news provides clear and honest news regarding Subject matters reporting complete stories, not what will tackle the ears of one particular party. Thank you EPOCH!!
Sabrina T said : This is a wonderful newspaper with reporting that is fair, informational and unbiased. It's such a pleasure to read a paper that covers everything that I need to know here in the US and also what is happening around the world that others are not reporting on. Their digital format is awesome too.
Confused keep reading reviews. I got a headache.

I read the reviews. They couldn't pay me to subscribe. There is just something that leaves me uneasy. A paper that is published by Chinese expatriates for expatriates that suddenly shows up in a Tennessee mailbox unsolicited just makes me wary. It is just a newspaper but why the unsolicited samples that have individual's names on the address label? We occasionally get a free sample of either the Kingsport or Johnson City papers tossed in the driveway in a plastic bag, but it is weird to get a sample of a NYC off beat publication with a personal address label rather than just a bulk mailing.

It is in a bag with the rest of our newspapers to be given to our neighbor who has several parrots and uses the papers for the bottom of the bird cages as well as for wrapping fragile items in their estate and antique business. I get enough biased propaganda from the newspaper here in Bristol without subscribing to anymore.
