Those who are financially able should get out of that state. I don't know how or why they put up with that hurricane crap and all of the death and destruction, year after year.

My sister and her husband moved to Tampa a couple years ago. We are traveling with them in Massachusetts right now but they are following the reports closely.

Oh my the computer model places the hurricane riding the east coast heading to South Carolina and North Carolina. Few years back the same thing happened and the Carolina's were a mess.

Well, this morning I am worrying about my oldest grand daughter. She lives in Fort Lauderdale area. She has been at my son's house in Kentucky for a few days and is headed back to Florida because she has a college class due to start on Tuesday. She is stubborn and was not about the be convinced to stay in Kentucky for a few more days.
I am hoping that she gets safely home and that the storm spares her any grief. Personally I don't know why ANYONE would live along the Southeastern or gulf coast, or in California.
Now I have to add concern for Kathy's cousins, and several friends that live in the Myrtle Beach area.
We however are to be completely spared. We normally get some rains and bad weather when we are on the fringe of these storms. This time the weather forecast shows us completely rain free and sunny for the entire week.

We are planning a visit to Nantucket. My multi-great grandfather was the original surveyor of the island and was given a land grand to settle there in payment for his work. Bit of family history, he was Benjamin Franklin's maternal grandfather.
