Mary A. Bello 1941 - 2019 UTICA - Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial for Mary A. Bello, age 77, who passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. God met her in the comfort of her home, embraced her, and escorted her to her eternal rest. Services will be held tomorrow, Monday at 1:00 at her home parish of St. Anthony & St. Agnes Church. The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of Mass. Online tributes at: www.EannaceFuneralHome.comShe was East Utica. She knew the history of all the businesses and buildings in downtown Utica. She walked the City streets with her walker that she called her car and shared fantastic jokes while riding on the many Busses she took each day rain or snow or shine. She attended Mass and other religious services regularly in many Utica Churches. She knew all the priests and Bus drivers. I remember the day she was run over by a car while leaving McDonald's in the Mohawk Street Shopping Center. She was in her early 70's then. Car took a chunk of flesh off her left leg and just kept going driving away and still not known of today. She sprang back with all the strength she could muster. She is going to be missed. Nothing stopped her not even her epilepsy. Eternal Rest grant her oh Lord and shine perpetual light upon her.

The Bello's were good people. I remember when Mary's brother Paul was killed in a tragic accident a few years ago working for Oneida County. It was a real tradegy, Paulie was only about 20 years old.
